Winnipeg’s 5 Best Coffee Shops

People are particular about their coffee. It makes good sense. Who would want to start their day on a lacklustre note? Winnipeg, Manitoba is one city in which one should never have to have a bad cup of java. With a number of unique independent spots across the city, we’ve provided a way to sip your way through a visit to this amazing city while only experiencing the best coffee it has to offer.

Little Sister Coffee Maker

What: A small well-designed space located just below street level. Featuring artisanal espressos and fresh pastries, this coffee shop is as busy and cheery as it gets.

Where: 470 River Ave, Osborne Village

Hours: Open daily 7:00 am – 7:00 pm

Parlour Coffee

What: Located downtown in Winnipeg’s Exchange District, Parlour was the first independent cafe on the scene and basically started the city’s coffee revolution. With a sleek minimalist space and displaying contemporary art, it’s the perfect location to enjoy that speciality coffee, espresso, or tea.

Where: 468 Main St, West Exchange District

Hours: Open daily 7:00 am – 5:00 pm

Forth

What: If you’re familiar with Dogwood Coffee, you’ll appreciate this space. Forth partnered up with the coffee brand and roasts their beans on-site. Outside of the coffee, this incredible space is contained within a large heritage building. With exposed brick, multiple coffee bars, incredible light, a massive communal working and dining space, and a small art gallery, Forth’s space definitely left an impression. Their excellent coffee was just the icing on the cake.
