Wes Anderson’s Films Come Alive In This Charming Airbnb

Do you consider yourself a long-lost Tenenbaum sibling? Have you always felt you’d make a great addition to team Zissou? Then you need to book this Wes Anderson-inspired Airbnb on your next trip.

Located in the oh-so-trendy Prince Edward County, just a two-hour drive away from Toronto, this quaint, 100-year-old house has been transformed into a film lover’s dream. Paying homage to Anderson’s whimsical colour palette and aesthetic, each room in the house channels the artistry of the acclaimed director’s films.

“I always wanted to be a Tenenbaum,” writes the house’s host, Dayna Winter. “This house is a love letter to him, and an ever-evolving design project.”

There’s the Life Aquatic living room, which draws styling tips from Steve Zissou’s S.S. Belafonte with nautical accents and a navy and yellow scheme.

One bedroom is made up as Margot Tenenbaum’s room, complete with a fur coat. The other is modelled after Moonrise Kingdom’s Camp Ivanhoe. There’s even a “Look Nook,” inspired by the movie’s heroine, Suzy Bishop.

You can book Mr. Anderson’s House on Airbnb now for $226/night. In the meantime, watch the trailer for—and get future design inspo from—Anderson’s upcoming animated film, Isle of Dogs, out March 23, 2018.
