Following American powerhouse retailers like Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Target (R.I.P.), Japanese clothing shop Uniqlo is ready to make its Canadian debut on September 30.
Uniqlo trails Zara, H&M and Gap as the fourth-biggest clothing retailer in the world, so it was about time the brand brought its racks to the True North.
Known for their colourful basics and practical, minimalist approach to fashion, Uniqlo carries men’s, women’s and childrenswear. Uniqlo will be opening two giant locations in the city.

The Yorkdale Shopping Centre location will house a 25,500 square foot location and will open later this year on October 20.
But in the meantime, Torontonians can shop mini Uniqlo pop ups located all across the city at four different local shops. These four stores will introduce the city to the Japanese retailer’s clothes, offering a selection of their most-coveted items including their Ultra Light Down Jackets and HEATTECH apparel.
Pop ups will be open until September 25, while stocks last. See the pop up locations below.
