The Stadium Secret Die-Hard Blue Jays Fans Don’t Want You To Know

If you’ve been to a Blue Jays game, we don’t have to tell you it’s a good time. Even if you’re not into baseball, the atmosphere, popcorn, beer, home runs, and party waves are enough to keep anyone entertained from the first inning to the last.

Want to make your time at the Jays game even better? Do we have a stadium secret for you…

Meet the WestJet flight deck, a standing-room-only section located beneath the main video board at the Rogers Centre. Access to the WestJet Flight Deck is on a first-come-first-serve basis. All you need is a ticket to enter the stadium during the regular season and you can access the deck at no extra charge. That means that even your 500 level tickets allow you and your friends to stroll down and take in the entire game from the 200 level at no extra charge.

Everyone in the stadium has access to this section, but not everyone understands it. Now that you’re ‘in the know’ if there’s vacancy, you can take in the game from this zone for as long as you want. If you’d like to just watch batting practice and catch a couple home run balls, you can do that. If you’d rather party with the rest of the fans on the WestJet Flight Deck for the length of the game, that’s cool, too.

Quick WestJet Flight Deck Facts:

  • Food and drinks are served in this section like the rest of the ballpark.
  • Standing room is limited so we recommend getting to the stadium gates as soon as they open!
  • During 40 games of the regular season, WestJet upgrades four fans standing on the Flight Deck to the WestJet Plus Luxury Suite.
  • You can only leave and re-enter the Flight Deck if there is any vacancy.
  • As the deck is exposed to the elements, if it rains and the roof of the Rogers Centre isn’t closed, you’re provided with a pretty fly looking rain poncho.
  • The Flight Deck is only first-come-first-serve during regular season games.
  • If you weren’t able to get a ticket to the game, keep an eye out for the WestJet Fanwagon driving around Toronto on select game days, choosing 10 fans to hop on board and be guests of WestJet in the WestJet Flight Deck.
