This new year we want to help you scratch off the goals on your bucket list. And first up is skydiving. We know you want to do it and we are here to make it easy for you. Check out these five reasons you should go skydiving in Saskatoon, SK. Once you’re convinced, all you have to do is go on and book it. Come on, we dare you.
Anyone (over 18 years old) can do it. All you have to do is visit Skydive Saskatoon and pick a date. They will do the rest for you. The best part is you can do it alone or with a big group of friends so if you can’t get anyone to go with you, you can just go by yourself!
Is fear holding you back? Conquer that fear by jumping out of a plane. Seriously. Everything in life just seems to dissipate once you have jumped out of a plane and shown fear who rules your life.
What people forget to mention is how pretty skydiving is. It is hands down the best way to see a new place or to get a new perspective on home. The best part about skydiving in Saskatoon is that you can see the entire city and parts of the South Saskatchewan River from the sky as the plane goes up, and then again while you are free falling from 11,000 feet at 200km/hr!
Yup, it’s true. Statistically speaking you put yourself more at risk by driving your car to work than jumping tandem out of a plane. At Skydive Saskatoon the equipment is new and maintained to the highest standards. They have certified parachute riggers on staff who inspect the equipment and ensure it meets these standards while all the instructors hold an expert skydiving license and are certified as tandem masters by the skydiving equipment manufacturer. Talk about the safest people you could possibly jump with!
Want to do something that will make everyone else really jealous? Jump out of a plane and get live video of it to post on your socials. At Skydive Saskatoon the tandem instructors wear a wrist mounted camera that will capture your entire jump from the ground up, and then back down again so you have the entire thing on tape. Because, if it isn’t on Snapchat it didn’t happen, right?
Where to book:
The easiest way to book your jump is by going to Skydive Saskatoon and picking an available date.
How to get there:
Skydive Saskatoon is located 12km north of Saskatoon, just west of Martensville, Saskatchewan. For Google map directions click here.
