Rappel Yourself Down A 43m Cliff At Cape Enrage

Rappelling Down Down Down

There is no better way to experience the giant tides of the Bay of Fundy than to rappel down the cliffs they carve at Cape Enrage. And lucky for you, no prior ropes or climbing skills are needed to do it. All you need is some confidence (the cliffs can be a bit scary at first), a reservation and more than 75lbs of weight on you. If you have all three of those you are good to go! And don’t let the walking backwards to lower yourself off the edge of a cliff scare you… we promise it is a great time!

Here is what you need to know:
  • Groups of up to 10 people
  • All equipment and instruction provided
  • Rappel 43m (142 ft) waterside rock cliffs
  • $90 + taxes per person for guided session and all equipment.  The length of the session will depend on the participant’s ability and confidence level.
  • Reservations required
  • Normal weight restriction: 75 lbs (34 kg) minimum
  • Hungry? Head to the Cape House Restaurant for awesome fish chowder

The first time is scary as you navigate your newly learnt rope skills to rappel down the cliffside. But once you get to the bottom you can’t wait to get back up to the top to do it again. And, dependent on your group size you typically can get in about 2 or more rappel runs per person.
