There is no better way to experience the giant tides of the Bay of Fundy than to rappel down the cliffs they carve at Cape Enrage. And lucky for you, no prior ropes or climbing skills are needed to do it. All you need is some confidence (the cliffs can be a bit scary at first), a reservation and more than 75lbs of weight on you. If you have all three of those you are good to go! And don’t let the walking backwards to lower yourself off the edge of a cliff scare you… we promise it is a great time!
The first time is scary as you navigate your newly learnt rope skills to rappel down the cliffside. But once you get to the bottom you can’t wait to get back up to the top to do it again. And, dependent on your group size you typically can get in about 2 or more rappel runs per person.
