How A Small B.C. Mountain Town Raised One Of Canada’s Best Rappers

Let us get you acquainted with SonReal aka Aaron Hoffman. This B.C. born Juno and MMVA nominated rapper has a distinct take on hip-hop, one that has allowed him to build something of a cult-following. He’s beyond prolific, dropping a number of mixtapes over the years and his music videos have a tendency to go viral. Interestingly, he comes from a smallish mountain town of 40,000 people, Vernon, B.C. SonReal recently checked in with Far And Wide to share some of his favourite spots in North Okanagan.
