6 Reasons You Have To Visit Halifax This October

Haven’t been to Halifax? It is time to cut the excuses and visit the beautiful city. Not only are the people incredibly friendly but the restaurant scene rivals most other major Canadian cities. Thinking about planning a trip? Why not plan one around these awesome events happening in Halifax this October.

Fall Colours in Halifax – All Of October

Not all of Canada gets epic fall colours. Thankfully, Halifax does. Unlike most major cities, Halifax’s urban core isn’t surrounded by suburbs, but forests of red maple, oak, and birch trees. As a result, the autumn colours in the woods of Halifax rival that of any city in the country. For some of the best views, we recommend the 16-hectare Shubie Park in Dartmouth, the frog pond at Fleming Park, or the 14.5 km Chain of Lakes bike trail.
