Created by Tomas and Anneen, Boon Burger is the world’s first vegan burger cafe and of all places is ironically situated in the prairies. Segovia Tapas Bar & Resturant

Go here if you are looking for a great place to share food, sit on the big patio and people watch Osborne St. Unlike many tapas restaurants the prices here are reasonable and the portions are good. Tallest Poppy

Newer to the scene, the Tallest Poppy is the place to go for chicken and waffles. And, if you like hot sauce their collection might just be the biggest in Winnipeg. Go here for breakfast and don’t be shocked if you end up staying all day. But make sure you get here early as the brunch lineups can get long when the late risers arrive.
